1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the services provided by Level Up Movers, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.
2. Services
Level Up Movers provides professional furniture removal and relocation services in Melbourne and surrounding areas. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason at any time.
3. Quotes and Pricing
All quotes provided are valid for 30 days from the date of issue. Quotes are based on the information provided at the time of request. If the scope of work changes on the day of the move, additional charges may apply.
- Hourly rates include travel time to and from the job
- Minimum booking time is 2 hours
- Payment is due upon completion of services
- We accept cash, bank transfer, and all major credit cards
4. Cancellation Policy
We understand that plans can change. Our cancellation policy is as follows:
- More than 48 hours notice: Full refund of any deposit
- 24-48 hours notice: 50% refund of deposit
- Less than 24 hours notice: Deposit is non-refundable
- Day of move cancellation: Full hourly rate may apply
5. Liability and Insurance
Level Up Movers carries comprehensive public liability and transit insurance. However, there are limitations to our liability:
- Items packed by the customer are not covered for damage due to improper packing
- Pre-existing damage must be noted before the move
- Items of extraordinary value (over $2,000) must be declared in advance
- We are not liable for acts of nature, theft, or circumstances beyond our control
6. Customer Responsibilities
To ensure a smooth move, you agree to:
- Provide clear and safe access to the property
- Arrange for parking permits if required (fines passed to customer)
- Notify us of any stairs, elevators, or difficult access points
- Declare any hazardous or prohibited items
- Be present at both pickup and delivery locations or have a representative
7. Prohibited Items
For safety and legal reasons, we cannot transport:
- Flammable, explosive, or hazardous materials
- Perishable food items
- Plants or live animals
- Firearms, ammunition, or weapons
- Illegal substances
8. Claim Process
If you believe an item has been damaged during your move:
- Note the damage on the completion form before signing
- Submit a written claim within 7 days of the move
- Provide photos of the damage and original condition if possible
- Claims will be processed within 14 business days
9. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on this page. Your continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
